Singers On The Grand present "Fifties Favorites"
Singers On The Grand is a group of 12 vocalists backed by an 8-piece band. Based in Grand Ledge, Michigan, they have been performing in the Lansing area for over 20 years.
This year's revue covers many styles of music from the 1950's. Group numbers include "American Bandstand Medley" from the rock-n-roll genre, a Latin arrangement of jazz standard "Misty," and Broadway hits such as "Hernando's Hideaway", "Climb Ev'ry Mountain", and "You'll Never Walk Alone."
The show also features small ensembles and soloists who will cover a wide variety of music from Broadway, jazz, country, and more, including "Whatever Lola Wants," "That's Amore," and songs by the Everly Brothers. And it's all at the beautiful Wilson Center Auditorium in downtown St. Johns.
Don't miss their newest revue, filled with lush vocals and the high-energy Grand Band in this season's opening performance!
